If you’ve always had your eye on a guitar from the Martin 15 series, the D-15E will blow you away. This dreadnought features sapele back and sides and a mahogany top with non-scalloped bracing, so you’ll hear bright, airy highs and a punchy midrange. The dreadnought body offers plenty of volume, so this baby can handle any musical situation you can imagine. On top of that, this model comes fitted with Martin E1 electronics and a softshell case, making it easy for you to take it on all your adventures.

Innovations introduced by Martin that became standard in guitar making also include guitars with 14 frets clear of the body as well as X‑bracing. This allows greater stability and load-bearing capacity of the top (soundboard) thanks to strips glued to the inside of the top. The name of the US company Martin Guitars, actually C.F. Martin & Co., Inc., has stood for the highest quality and innovation in the construction of stringed instruments since 1833. When people think of Martin they immediately think of the acoustic guitar, since the company founder and German emigrant Christian Friedrich Martin gave the instruments the form we still know and appreciate today. Among the company's inventions are the special bracing (X‑bracing), the neck join at the 14th fret and popular body shapes such as the dreadnought guitar.
