The MAUI 11 G3 delivers a large, punchy and precise sound with 730 W RMS power (1,460 W peak), convincing in all applications: as a main PA for concerts, as a sound system for mobile DJs or as a PA for weddings, corporate events and other occasions.
With its elegant design the MAUI 11 G3 looks particularly balanced. The two aluminium column elements in the MAUI G3 series sit on the front edge of the subwoofer, further enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns house 6 x 3.5" midrange drivers which, in combination with the innovative phase-plug design and the 2 x 1" high-frequency drivers, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. In addition, the BEM-optimised waveguide in front of the HF drivers carries the high frequencies into the rear audience areas.
The developers also worked on the crossover point, the transition between midrange and high-frequency drivers, to reduce harmonic distortions and cancellations and to make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: an especially precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° coverage area.
The columns of the MAUI 11 G3 are designed as cardioid speakers. This provides controlled low-mid forward projection and up to 18 dB attenuation to the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound field.
With the two larger 8" chassis and four bass-reflex ports the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 39 Hz clearly and with impact. Using a second subwoofer can boost the bass range by 6 dB and, at the push of a button (preset), run in cardioid configuration. Furthermore, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer easily withstands the toughest on-the-road demands.
The MAUI 11 G3 is a true sound machine, but also impresses with practical everyday features for DJs, musicians and engineers. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC codec the column PA becomes a versatile sound system. Transport is as easy as ever, and during setup the improved, invisible connectors between the elements provide increased stability - the MAUI is not easily rattled...
