HANIKA’s FLAMENCO KF is a concert guitar optimised in every respect for flamenco playing and finished in a high-gloss look. The back and sides are made from the finest domestic cherry and the top from very good thermo spruce, crafted using Torres-style bracing. This light and thin flamenco guitar is voiced for strong attack. It shines with a defined bass and is ideal for an expressive playing style. With a body depth that is 2 cm shallower, the low-frequency bass range is minimised.
The flat top with 7-strut fan bracing, together with the special low flamenco inverted bridge made from thermo pearwood, is ideal for "golpe" technique. The special design of this bridge ensures better vibration transfer to the top while keeping the weight low.
The black-browned, bearing and bushed "Rubner R2-SE-Teflon" tuners with edge engraving, the thermo-alder neck reinforced with fine hardwood, the fretboard made of selected grenadilla wood and the solid ebony headplate in flamenco design are some of the special quality features of the Flamenco KF. The body is sealed with a UV-cured acrylic high-gloss lacquer and the top has been finished with our new glossy "spray shellac". A full golpeador (tap plate) is standard here.
