Design and construction
The body is available in alder, ash or mahogany and comes in classic Fender finishes as well as bold, modern colours. This Fender Player II Stratocaster MN features a mahogany body with tone chambers and a Transparent Mocha Burst finish, enhanced by a high-gloss urethane topcoat. The body is bolted to a maple neck with an elegant satin finish. The maple fretboard and a nut width of 1.650" (42 mm) ensure a comfortable playing feel. Everything about the neck is aimed at fast, fluid playability — from the modern "C" profile with a silky urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius of the maple fretboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
