The special feature of the new EC2S heads is the Sound Shaping Technology newly developed by Evans. This technology makes it possible to give each head, according to its size, an individual damping. The damping material is not glued on but is built directly into the head and varies in thickness and width depending on the head diameter. Thanks to this individual damping, the new EC2S heads offer more tone, sustain and a crisp attack. In addition, the new EC2S impress with a greater tuning range and dynamic range.
