The result is the Crossfire pedal - a combination of a Super Reverb/Twin Reverb (switchable) style amp-in-a-box and its own interpretation of the legendary green overdrive pedal from Japan. The amp section covers everything from glass-clear cleans to Blackface crunch. Activate the overdrive side and things really kick off - dynamic, full-bodied overdrive up to singing lead tones. The clipping of the overdrive section is switchable between symmetrical and asymmetrical. On board is an FX loop, which is placed electronically between the amp and overdrive sections. Both pedal sections can also be used completely separately - "Send" is the output of the overdrive section, "Return" the input of the amp side. Inside the chassis there is a headroom switch that raises the internal supply of the overdrive section from 9 to 18 volts to provide greater headroom.
