The AKG WMS40 PRO MINI instrument and guitar UHF wireless system features AKG’s HDAP High Definition Audio Performance technology to ensure the the best possible sound. The AKG WMS40 MINI instrument set includes an AKG SR40 MINI receiver, an AKG PT40 MINI beltpack transmitter, a AKG L guitar cable, a universal power supply with US/UK/EU adapter, and one AA size dry battery. The AKG WMS40 MINI wireless instrument and guitar transmitter operates on UHF frequencies un-affected by the 2012 UK wireless frequency switchover, with a choice of 3 frequencies per set.
The AKG SR40 MINI receiver provides three status LEDs indicating ON/OFF status, RF OK received signal strength, and AF CLIP audio clipping. The VOLUME control sets the level at the 1/4-inch output jack. The included universal switched mode power supply operates on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 VAC and includes EU, UK, and US adapters.
The AKG PT40 MINI beltpack transmitter is probably the smallest and lightest transmitter in its class. A reliable mini-XLR output allows connection of every compatible AKG miniature microphone. A single AA size battery will power both the PT40 MINI beltpack transmitter and a condenser microphone connected to it. Battery life of the AKG PT40 MINI transmitter is 30 hours from a single AA battery reducing the need to replace batteries.
