Vox Valvetronix

The VTX series from Vox represents the logical successor to the Valvetronix series. These amplifiers feature a completely revised modelling technology and a multi‑stage tube pre‑amp circuit for that silky distortion, pick sensitivity and response of “classic” tube amps. The new modelling algorithms emulate the analogue circuits of the most sought‑after tube amplifiers and offer an adjustable gain structure, a switch between “Class A” and “Class AB” operation as well as an adjustable bias. Every VTX amplifier includes 13 classic effects, the originals of which now command eye‑watering sums. Combined with the 11 amp models they deliver a rich, full sound. Other features — including the sealed cabinet, the purpose‑designed bass‑reflex design, the USB port, the tuner function, an AUX input and a headphone output — clearly make the VTX amps the frontrunners of the Valvetronix class.
