Ampeg Venture

The amplifiers of the Ampeg Venture series offer the modern style and the practical features for modern bassists with high demands. The Venture series continues a tradition of innovation that stretches back to the beginnings of the electrically amplified bass. Powerful, yet portable, lightweight and road- and tour-ready, the series includes the Venture V3 and Venture V7 amp heads and the VB-112 and VB-212 cabinets.

With their user-friendly and intuitive controls, the Venture series amplifiers provide an extensive set of tone-shaping tools, including a 3-band EQ with adjustable mids, Ultra Hi and 3-way Ultra Lo switches, as well as a Super Grit Technology (SGT) overdrive circuit with SVT and B15 voicings. The Venture V7 head also features a variable compressor. An effects loop, an XLR direct output, an aux input and a headphone output improve connectivity. With the exception of the Class D solid-state amplifiers, all circuits are analogue. With an optional AFS2 footswitch you can remotely control the SGT overdrive and the mute. Rugged, padded Venture gig bags are available separately.

The speaker cabinets of the Ampeg Venture series are available in the most popular configurations and, weighing just 12–13 kg, are extremely light and tour-ready. The VB-112 is an ideal cabinet for practising and playing smaller gigs, while the larger VB-212 offers roughly double the output and is ideal for bassists who are frequently on the road and play in larger halls with sizeable audiences.
