Z.Vex Machine Overdrive Handpaint

Product information "Z.Vex Machine Overdrive Handpaint"

The Z.VEX Machine distortion guitar effects pedal uses crossover notch distortionn to distort when your guitar string is in the middle of vibrating, while it's swinging, not as it's turning around at the peaks. That's the same place where your speaker cone is sort of coasting, between all the way in and all the way out. Where nothing is happening, this pedal happens.

About Z.Vex

Z.Vex is an American company dedicated to the manufacture of high-quality effects pedals, above all distortions. These pedals are characterised by their particularly robust metal housings and are immediately recognisable as Z.Vex pedals thanks to their striking design with hand-painted graphics. Most famous are probably the pedals Box of Rock (Overdrive) and Fuzz Factory (the name says it all). Custom pedals with customer artwork are available too.
Numerous professional artists also enjoy the raw sounds of their Z.Vex effects. These include Ian D'Sa (Billy Talent), Wayne Sermon (Imagine Dragons), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), John Frusciante (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Joe Satriani.
