Yamaha YFL-412 transverse flute
Product information "Yamaha YFL-412 transverse flute"
True to the motto "The Best Student Flute just got Better" Yamaha presents the 200, 300 and 400 series.
The flutes will now appear in a new design with Pointed Arms, as also found in the professional models. The optimised cushion ensure better stability and thus contribute to improved life of the flute. The elegant new form of key cover gives the flute a pleasant comfortable and natural feel.
The YFL-412 is, like its predecessor, equipped with an E mechanism and offset G. Barrel Foot and Middle joints are made of nickel silver and the barrel is completely silver plated. The quick response of the YFL-412 and the radiant sound make this flute the ideal instrument for beginners as well as advanced users. Contrary to YFL-372 YFL-312 is equipped with closed keys that ensure easy and comfortable handling.
The "E mechanism"
The E-mechanism is an additional lever. This is the high E (e3) easier to play and more accurately. It prevents the musician from tone "slipping" and provides additional security when playing. The E-mechanic has proved itself and prevailed for many years with amateur and semi-professionals instruments.
The "offset G":
The as "Offset G" designated position of the key with which the "G" is played is now standard on any good flute. This key position allows the Instrument to ergonomically fit the hand and not vice-versa. So Please make sure that your flute always has an "Offset G" - your fingers will thank you!
