The latest generation Silent Brass "J" from Yamaha offers more playing enjoyment anytime, anywhere.
The Silent Brass System consists of a lighter mute with almost natural blowing resistance and the Personal Studio STJ. These two components together reproduce the natural sound of the instrument as if it were played without a mute.
The improved Personal Studio STJ now features new reverb and graduated reverb effects, player/viewer mode, USB connectivity, improved brass resonance modelling, as well as support from Yamaha's new Rac-n-Share APP. The new sound unit also provides a simple solution for online lessons via computer or smartphone connection.
The remarkably light and compact Silent Brass mute system reduces the sound in an impressive way. The intonation remains stable in all registers. The playing feel is excellent thanks to the optimal air flow and almost natural blowing resistance.
