Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus MN Sparkle Blue
Product information "Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus MN Sparkle Blue"
Pacifica Standard Plus guitars were developed for a wide range of guitarists searching for an individual and unmistakable sound. Based on newly designed alder bodies, a slim maple neck with a C profile, rosewood or maple fretboards, Reflectone pickups co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs and four vibrant colour options, these models deliver exceptional tone and outstanding playability.
Modern design and premium features
The slim C-profile neck, specially contoured neck-heel area, a specially chamfered body and a 14" (350 mm) radius fretboard make the Pacifica Standard Plus exceptionally easy and comfortable to play. A modern C neck shape that combines comfort and speed in an ideal way provides, together with a satin finish, a smooth and sleek playing experience. The contoured neck heel ensures comfortable and easy access to the upper frets. The alder body has a chamfer on the lower edge to further enhance playing comfort.
The Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus is available with either a maple or rosewood fretboard. Rosewood fretboards are particularly valued for their warm tone and smooth response, while maple fretboards offer a brighter tone with immediate attack in comparison.
Pickups and hardware
The new Reflectone pickups were developed in cooperation with Rupert Neve Designs and deliver a clear, articulated tone with a solid foundation and sparkling highs. In the HSS configuration used, the pickups offer exceptional versatility, not least thanks to the coil-splitting function.
The stainless steel frets are not only extremely durable, they also offer noticeably less resistance when bending the strings. Gotoh locking tuners combined with a Gotoh two-point tremolo system guarantee consistently smooth operation and tuning stability.
Modern manufacturing techniques
Yamaha's Acoustic Design technology relies on scientific processes such as 3D modelling to develop routing techniques in woodwork that optimise both body resonance and the transfer of vibrations between neck and body.
Inspired by Pop Art and summer vibes
The selection of vibrant new colours was developed in close cooperation between Yamaha's design teams in Hamamatsu, Japan and Los Angeles, USA. The finishes were inspired by both Japanese City Pop Art and the sun-soaked vibes of Southern California. The exciting new colours of the Pacifica Professional will make you and your guitar an eye-catcher wherever you take them.

Yamaha or A Company That Makes Everything. In fact, you could probably list faster what Yamaha does not make. The Japan-based company, active for over 125 years, is the all-rounder among instrument manufacturers. Having started as a maker of pianos, grand pianos and even wooden furniture, the range was soon expanded considerably: Yamaha now offers keyboards, string instruments, woodwinds, drums and percussion as well as PA and studio equipment. For example, youll find steel-string acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric basses, the popular PSR keyboards, acoustic drumkits and e-drum sets, flutes and saxophones for beginners and intermediates, as well as the popular Clavinova CLP-700 digital pianos and entertainer keyboards like the Genos or the synthesiser Yamaha MX49, plus PA equipment and studio monitors for professional needs. In any case, you can always rely on Yamaha for excellent value for money.
