Digital Never Felt So Grand

The full sound of a concert grand arises only from its complex construction. From the moment a key is struck to the instant the sound reaches your ear, more than 8,000 individual parts inside the grand work together in perfect harmony.

The Clavinova CLP digital pianos are designed to make the feel and playing experience of an acoustic concert grand available on a digital instrument.

Keyboard and Pedals

The GrandTouchTM and GrandTouch-STM keyboards and GrandTouchTM pedals have been developed to come as close as possible to the natural touch and playing feel of a grand.

Capturing the Finest Nuances

With Grand Expression Modeling, even more tonal nuances are now available to fully capture a pianist's expression depending on technique.

Superb Piano Sound

A next-generation sound chip produces our finest and most beautiful piano tones to date.

More Realistic Resonance

Thanks to our new sound chip, the Virtual Resonance Modeling generates a fuller and more natural resonance than ever before.

The Most Advanced Speaker System

Grand Acoustic Imaging with 3D audio recreates the sound atmosphere of a concert grand.

Classic Grand Design

CLP-800 pianos share the same graceful curves as a grand.

The Benefits of the Digital World

The Clavinova CLP digital pianos were developed to replicate the touch and experience of an acoustic grand. They also offer additional features to help you develop your playing and enjoy it more:

Binaural Sampling for Headphones

In this sampling method, specialised microphones are mounted on the head of a dummy in the exact positions of a pianist's ears to capture the sound exactly as a pianist would hear it in real life. This experience is so comfortable that you'll forget you're wearing headphones, no matter how long you play.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Stream your favourite songs directly via Bluetooth® to your piano and hear them through the CLP digital piano's high-quality speaker system. That way you can even easily accompany your favourite artists at the piano!

Record Your Performances

With the CLP-800 series you can record your performances in both audio and MIDI formats, using the Smart Pianist app or to a connected USB flash drive. This makes it easy to share your progress with friends and family.

About Yamaha

Yamaha or A Company That Makes Everything. In fact, you could probably list faster what Yamaha does not make. The Japan-based company, active for over 125 years, is the all-rounder among instrument manufacturers. Having started as a maker of pianos, grand pianos and even wooden furniture, the range was soon expanded considerably: Yamaha now offers keyboards, string instruments, woodwinds, drums and percussion as well as PA and studio equipment. For example, youll find steel-string acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric basses, the popular PSR keyboards, acoustic drumkits and e-drum sets, flutes and saxophones for beginners and intermediates, as well as the popular Clavinova CLP-700 digital pianos and entertainer keyboards like the Genos or the synthesiser Yamaha MX49, plus PA equipment and studio monitors for professional needs. In any case, you can always rely on Yamaha for excellent value for money.
