Warm Audio has earned a strong reputation with authentic replicas of legendary effect units - the WA-TS Tube Squealer is dedicated to the iconic green mid-gain overdrive pedals from Japanese production. The pedal offers 3 switchable variants of the classic: 808, TS9 and TS10 - the authentic circuits are, as is usual for Warm Audio, populated with top, carefully selected components such as the JRS 4558 chip. On board are some modern tweaks: the internal 9‑volt operating voltage is switchable to 18 volts for increased headroom, Buffered/True Bypass selectable, pickup voicing switch - tonal tailoring for guitars fitted with single coils or humbuckers, mix (blend) knob - the dry signal can be blended with the overdrive signal, and even with heavy drive the pick attack stays intact.
