Brian Wampler, CEO of Wampler Pedals, has created some of the best effects pedals in the world. From the humble beginnings of modding pedals to producing his original boutique pedals, it's been a long journey for Brian. He is a guitarist first and foremost and has always been a true gear nerd — he tried different guitars, amps and, of course, pedals — always with the aim of achieving the best possible sound. Every pedal on the market that Brian played simply didn't deliver the sounds he craved. So rather than settle for standard sounds, he began tweaking and modifying pedals here and there to get closer to the sounds he heard in his head.
Those pedals still didn't satisfy Brian, so he started designing his own. That is how Wampler Pedals was born, a brand that continues to win more and more fans.
With a wide range of products and ever more new releases, Brian Wampler continues to bring world-class guitar sounds to great guitarists. The process from developing a guitar pedal to its release is lengthy, but the results are worth it. Brian is now supported in the development of his pedals by a hands-on team.
