In addition to a treble and bass tone control, 2 semi-parametric mid bands are available, all in typical Wampler quality! It can be used in a variety of ways: as a boost pedal with targeted boosting of the mids, as an extremely versatile tone control, as a creative tool for sound shaping, or as a feedback filter. The pedal can also be operated with 18 volts DC, which enables an extended headroom and less background noise.

My purpose was purely getting a smaller pedal on pedal board for preshaping, and rating is from that point of view. Narrow Q-value is not narrow enough IMO. Preshaping is amplifying certain frequencies so they saturate tube earlier and control which harmonics you get. So sweeping frequency knob to find sweet spot. Good eq overall, just not for my purpose.
Like I write on the title , a very good tools and an accurate EQ , but, produce at past noon to the volume knob a big blow when you use the distortion channel of your amp , a very good noise suppressor is needed . It's the only raison I don't put five star on my over all impression.
Die Verarbeitung des Pedals ist sehr wertig. Die EQs greifen gut. Kein Rauschen. Die zweifach parametrischen Mitten decken zwar fast die gleichen Frequenzen ab, Mids 1 hat aber eine flachere Flankensteilheit, Mids 2 wählt mit gößerer Flankensteilheit genau die gewünschte Frequenz an. Der Preis ist zwar hoch, aber was man so hört und liest, soll die Qualität dementsprechend sein. Da es fast unmöglich ist ein von XTS gemoddeten GE7 zu ergattern, scheint mir dieses Gerät ein mehr als adäquater Ersatz zu sein.
Ich benutze das Teil für mein Rhodes-Piano, um im Bühnenkontext es durchzusetzen, z.B. den Bassbereich anzudicken (Spiele ohne Bassisten) Funktioniert gut.
