The MAKO ACS1 MK II is an advanced stereo amp and cab simulator that gives guitarists an authentic alternative to conventional amplifiers. With improved features, a new display and a user-friendly interface, the MK II version of this popular pedal takes performance to a new level.
Flexibility and variety of amp simulation
The pedal offers six amp models inspired by the classics: Fender® Deluxe Reverb, Marshall® Bluesbreaker, Vox® AC30, Peavey® 5150, Orange® Rockerverb and Mesa Boogie® Dual Rectifier. This gives you access to a wide range of iconic sounds that you can use either individually or in stereo configurations. You can use two amplifiers with different cabinet simulations simultaneously, allowing you to create unique sounds independently on the left and right.
Authentic cab simulation with high-quality IRs
The MAKO ACS1 MK II comes with 12 carefully designed impulse responses (IRs) from Tone Factor and York Audio, based on classic and modern amplifiers. These IRs deliver maximum fidelity and authenticity. Even better, you can load your own IRs via the USB-C port to customize your rig to your individual needs. Firmware updates are also possible to keep the pedal up to date.
Comprehensive sound shaping and control
A 3-band EQ lets you make detailed adjustments to bass, midrange and treble, while the noise gate, presence and resonance controls give you additional control. Three built-in reverb types (room, hall and spring) give your sound the depth it needs. The boost switch with adjustable volume and gain allows you to amplify your sound directly on stage or in the studio, without any additional effort.
Storing and retrieving presets
The pedal offers direct access to three user-assignable presets, with the option of storing and retrieving up to 128 presets via MIDI. The MIDI IN and THRU connections allow for seamless integration into your setup. Be it in the studio, on stage or at home – this pedal adapts to any situation.

Preis ist recht ordentlich, die 6 Amps und 12 Cabs klingen aber wirklich authentisch und das Teil deckt eine ganze Menge an Sounds ab. In Verbindung mit einem Pedalboard bildet das Walrus eine solide Basis für leises Recording oder einfach Üben im handlichen Format. Solides Gehäuse und Boss Pedal Größe machen es noch attraktiver für Leute mit Platzproblemen. Wer sich zuhause kein Top Teil mit 4/12 er Box hinstellen, geschweige denn aufdrehen kann, ist mit dem Walrus gut aufgehoben. Die Cab und Amp Sims klingen sehr ausgewogen und natürlich, die 3 neuen highgain amps erweitern das ansich schon große Spektrum des Vorgängers nochmal deutlich und komplettieren somit sämtliche Genre übergreifende Anwendungsbereiche. Absolute Empfehlung !
