According to Walrus audio, the Jupiter pedal is a grumpy, fat and loud fuzzbox. This description is true, the pedal delivers fat fuzz sounds with a rather dark tone. The sound palette ranges from round dark fuzz over the aggressive saw to broken Velcro style sounds. The basic characteristic of the distortion can be changed with the mode switch, in addition a bass boost can be switched. The current V2 version has the following updates: extended gain range, improved control range of the level pot and internal trimpot controllable gate for the secondary noise removal or for generating dying battery sounds.
