The Universal Audio 1176 Compressor is a legend in the studio scene. This compressor sets a milestone in studio technology through its dense sound and its musical way of working. Walrus Audio takes this sound as a role model, but has been inspired by the intuitive operation of the classic guitar compressors such as MXR Dynacomp or Ross Compressor in the user interface. The Deep Six Pedal offers a tonal palette of light, subtle compression through to powerfully-packed effect compression with a long sustain trail. The operating voltage doubled internally to 18 volts significantly extends the headroom.
