Product information "Victory Amps V4 The Jack Pedal preamp B-Stock"
The British amp manufacturer has released four of its best-selling amps as an amp in a box or preamp. All pedals work with a real tube circuit - Victory uses an EC900 triode and 3 CV4014 pentodes - very unusual tubes, but with a convincing sound and long service life. Let's take a look at the preamps one by one: The V4 The Jack pedal corresponds to the successful V 30 The Countess amp. This amp was developed in collaboration with Guthrie Goven, who was looking for a compact, small tube amp with 2 channels that would cover the range from crystal-clear clean to high gain. The V4 The Jack pedal also has 2 channels with separate gain and master controls that share a common 3-band EQ. The highlight of the Victory preamps is that they can either be used as a standard preamp or, much more interestingly, integrated into an amp with a DX loop. Alternatively, the amp's preamp or the VX pedal can be used. Other effects pedals that are in the effects loop can still be used. The pedal's remote switch input is very useful for this, allowing it to be controlled remotely via an external footswitch or switcher.
