In collaboration with Adrian Thorpe (Thorpy FX), the British amp company Victory has packed 5 of its popular amps into compact amp-in-a-box pedals. The Duchess is based on the legendary Californian tube combos from the tweed and blackface era - the sounds range from the characteristic, pearly cleantone to creamy crunch. The Duchess pedal responds very well to the guitar's volume pot. With the effective 3-band EQ, the pedal can be easily adapted to the existing equipment.
