The Legacy 810e brings a traditional body shape back into the fold: the dreadnought, arguably the most recognizable of all acoustic guitar body shapes, which has recently evolved into the Grand Pacific (a dreadnought with rounded shoulders) in the Taylor line. This rosewood and spruce model embodies the spirit of Bob's first models with room-filling volume and projection, complemented by the warmth and clarity of the highs that players love about this classic wood combination. Like the other models in the Legacy Collection, the 810e blends the modern with the classic. It features Taylor's now-patented neck, traditional X-bracing, and a straight-tail design reminiscent of the company's Lemon Grove days.
The aesthetic features reflect Bob's clean, classic style: white plastic binding, a three-ring green abalone rosette, unengraved large diamond mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel tuning machines, and a high-gloss finish on both the body and neck.
