The Builder's Edition 514ce has been expertly crafted for unmatched comfort and exceptional tonal clarity, featuring ergonomic contours, beautiful aesthetics, and Taylor's best all-solid wood construction. This cutaway Grand Auditorium guitar has a Sitka spruce top and Shamel ash back and sides, harvested responsibly from trees that had to be removed from communal land in Southern California. Together, they deliver warm, punchy midrange, crisp highs, and impressive bass presence. Innovative V-Class internal bracing improves sustain, volume, and intonation across the entire neck. Thoughtful design details such as a beveled armrest, beveled edges, a contoured cutaway, and a slim Curve Wing bridge ensure incredible comfort when holding and playing. The back, sides, and neck feature an artfully applied Kona burst, and the body is finished with a rich gloss finish. Premium details include our Compass inlay scheme, Gotoh 510 antique chrome tuners, a fire stripe pickguard, and black/ivoroide binding. Equipped with ES2 electronics for a rich, natural plug-in tone, this model comes with a deluxe hard shell case.
