The Night Sky Reverberator is no 0815 Digital Reverb - here it goes off in space and time to unknown reverb worlds! Strymon calls the NightSky "Time Warped Reberberator", a fitting description. There are 3 reverb algorithms available that can be bent, stretched, modulated and morphed beyond recognition. The NightSky is an ideal playground for creative sound screwdrivers and film musicians. The sound palette ranges from infinite reverberations, modulated shimmer reverbs, rhythmic patterns, mica effects, etc. etc. On board is an easy-to-program 8-step sequencer that allows you to record different size and pitch values and create rhythmic patterns that can even be synchronized by tap tempo. There are 16 user presets directly available, 300 memory locations can be selected via MIDI. An expression pedal connector is also on board, with which any parameter can be controlled remotely, even the usual Strymon favorite switch can be used.

Don’t expect realistic rooms, this takes reverbs into synthesizer realms. Extremely lush sounding and feature packed yet surprisingly straight forward to operate. Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m rather blown away by it.
