Duncan's exact replica of the original pickup from the Pre CBS Stratocaster. Magnets, wire, number of coil windings, varnished coils and fabric wrapping are similar to the original. The pole pieces are of course "staggered" (ie different heights) and artificially aged in a special "dark-age" process.
