Selmer Signature Alto Saxophone Gold Lacquer
Product information "Selmer Signature Alto Saxophone Gold Lacquer"
The SELMER Signature alto saxophone embodies the renewal of the Super Action 80 Series II, which has shaped saxophone history since its introduction in 1984. While preserving the tonal characteristics of the Series II, it offers improved intonation—particularly in the upper register—and favours response in the lower register thanks to a redesigned S-bow bore. The model benefits from the latest innovations of Henri SELMER Paris's Supreme saxophone: a novel 3-point S-bow mounting with a nickel-silver clamping ring for better tonal homogeneity and density, as well as an octave mechanism mounted on Teflon. The body and bell are adorned with an Art Déco-style engraving as a tribute to centuries-old instrument-making techniques passed down through generations at the SELMER factory in Mantes-la-Ville.
