Innovative aluminium moving coil
The novel DMC7 capsule was specially developed for capturing vocals and speech. Thanks to the innovative and unique aluminium moving coil, the V7 White offers a very fresh, open sound. It enables faithful reproduction of your voice and its balanced tone makes the sound engineer's job easier. The supercardioid polar pattern and the refined acoustic capsule design help your voice to cut through other instruments and signals on stage and provide very high feedback rejection.
Patented integrated suspension
The new patented suspension effectively decouples the capsule from the housing and thereby reduces handling noise, structure-borne noise and rumble particularly effectively. This keeps your voice at the forefront even during energetic stage shows.
Rugged metal body and anti-roll protection
The housing is made entirely from solid metal parts – no sensitive plastic components. The handle is produced from proven zinc‑aluminium die‑cast parts that withstand the highest stresses. The durable microphone grille is made from high-quality spring steel and is resistant to deformation and corrosion. The chamfered edges along the grille prevent the microphone from rolling away on flat surfaces such as the stage floor or your guitar amp.
Internal windscreen
The white internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted wind and pop noises (for example from consonants or plosives). If you prefer a black windscreen, a black windscreen is also included with the V7.
Gold-plated XLR contacts
The gold-plated XLR contacts provide maximum reliability and permanently prevent any kind of corrosion.
The proven neodymium magnets, tight manufacturing tolerances and high build quality enable outstanding sound quality as well as high sensitivity and durability.
Thanks to its very balanced, neutral tuning, the V7 allows you not only to mic vocals but also to capture a wide variety of other sources, such as miking electric guitar speaker cabinets, brass instruments, drums and choirs – both on stage and in the studio.
