The seventh book in the "Songbooks for young and old" series is aimed at the very young, because children love music. Even as babies, they can be soothed or distracted with songs. And when they sing themselves, they add enthusiasm and joie de vivre. This book provides a practical tool for parents, grandparents and carers.

In addition to traditional children's songs that everyone knows from their childhood, the collection also contains many songs from film, radio and TV as well as the most popular songs by songwriters such as Rolf Zuckowski, Fredrik Vahle, Detlev Jöcker, Reinhard Lakomy and Wolfgang Hering.

All songs are easy to accompany with the guitar or ukulele and contain the necessary chord fingerings and accompaniment patterns. There are also plenty of illustrations to colour in and dozens of instructions to join in, whether at nursery or with the children at home. The book is rounded off with a table of contents organised by topic, such as lullabies, birthday songs or movement songs.

For instrumentalists: the XXL version of the songbook is particularly practical inside, as the spiral binding allows the book to stand perfectly on the music stand. The pieces are always notated on a maximum of two pages - so there is no need to turn the pages when playing. In addition, the notes and texts are large enough to be easily read from a distance of up to one metre. Thanks to the picking patterns that are given for all pieces, getting started in the world of folk picking is also child's play.
