Ross Fuzz
Product information "Ross Fuzz"
Ross is back!!!
A Ross reissue fuzz? That's right, there has never been a Ross fuzz. The fuzz circuit is similar to the distortion circuit of the legendary Kustom amps - huge transistor stacks covered with padded leatherette and looking more like a tasteless 70's sofa. This cool sound can be heard on recordings by John Fogerty (Run through the jungle, Fortunate Son) and also on Grateful Dead, Leon Russel, Jackson 5 etc.. There are also 2 sound variants available for the Ross Fuzz: Vintage and Modern. An independent fuzz pedal with a high recognition value.

Since the 1970s Charles "Bud" Ross built a whole range of effect pedals. The pedals' trademark was the same, extremely rugged enclosure each time, with a different finish depending on the effect type and a simple control layout that was limited to the two most important controls for that effect. Ross Pedals had then, as now, a large following and the manufacturer's vintage pedals are nowadays traded at sometimes astronomical prices.
Lovers of the Ross Pedals brand can now breathe a sigh of relief: Josh Scott of JHS Pedals, a pedal genius and avowed fan of the old Ross effects, has revived the brand. The classics among the Ross pedals, such as Compressor, Distortion, Phaser and Chorus, are of course back in the range, as is a new vintage-style creation: the Ross Fuzz. Fans of the brand are no longer forced to buy a vintage pedal at exorbitant prices, but for the first time in a long while can once again purchase brand-new Ross effects.
