In 1975, the legendary Roland JC 120, a stereo amplifier with the then sensational chorus effect appeared. The JC 120 became a bestseller and set a benchmark for clean sound. This tradition is now being followed on with the current JC 40. New to the JC is a stereo input - Multi effects, stereo stompboxes and preamps Modeling can be operated in stereo. The serial / parallel effects loop is also designed in stereo. The Distortion section has been revised and now provides contemporary overdrive sounds. The whole deal is packaged in a rugged, roadworthy enclosure.

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various musical instruments and studio equipment on 18 April 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to reach the market were the first rhythm machines of the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a decisive influence on the techno, electro and hip-hop scenes. In the mid-1970s the JC-120 Jazz Chorus guitar amplifier was developed, whose ultra-clear sound together with the built-in chorus effect won over both Andy Summers of The Police and Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield of Metallica. Since then and to this day Roland have continuously expanded their catalogue across a wide range of fields such as digital pianos, grooveboxes, e-drums and synthesizers with high-quality and interesting products.

Transporter un jc120 m’est devenu impossible voilà ce que j’attendais depuis longtemps un son identique avec 15 kg de moins. Et cerise sur le gâteau la puissance est au rendez-vous. Sur les petites scènes en plein air pas besoin de repiquer l’ampli ( je le fais seulement pour un confort de jeu pas pour un manque de puissance. Merci Roland et merci à musik produktiv
I absolutely love this amp! It’s soo clean sounding. Some people complain about the hissing that occurs on most Jazz Choruses, but it never bothered me. Musik-Produktiv also shipped it out super quick and I’m really happy with my purchase.

... soll man das auch sagen :-) ! Der Verstärker hat einen super clean-Sound und einen legendären stereochoruseffekt! Der Preis bei den‘Produktiven‘ war unschlagbar und ist für das Produkt kaum zu fassen. Komplikationen bei der Onlinebestellung wurden am Telefon unkompliziert, superfreundlich und professionell gelöst. Ich bin begeistert! ... und: NEIN, ich bin mit keinem aus dem Laden verwand, oder verschwägert ;-)
Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Verstärker, der gut mit meiner Jazzmaster und meinem Pedalboard harmoniert. Zuvor habe ich lange eine TwinReverb gespielt, jedoch habe ich hier nie wirklich die Höhen in den Griff gekriegt - entweder zu mulmig oder zu kreischend. Der Jazz Chorus hat hier keinerlei Probleme. Was mit darüber hinaus gefällt, dass der Verstärker immer absolut gleich klingt und keine Röhrenwartung braucht. Dar war mein Twin wesentlich launischer und anfälliger. Last but not least: der Amp lässt sich aufgrund Größe und Gewicht prima transportieren und ist trotzdem laut genug für den Proberaum bzw. für kleine-mittlere Bühnen. Ich habe den Volume-Regler auf knapp 10 Uhr beim Proben mit meiner Indieband und komme prima gegen Drums und Bass an. Der Chorus ist ebenso großartig. Einziges Manko (und daher ein Stern Abzug bei Ausstattung): es liegt kein Fußschalter bei.
