The Roland Jazz Chorus amplifier line has set standards in terms of clean sound since its "inauguration" in 1975. The latest addition to this family is the Jazz Chorus JC-22 - the shrunken version of the JC-120. The combo delivers 2 x 15 watts - but the highlight is the integrated stereo chorus effect. As with its predecessors, the stereo chorus makes the sun rise - marvellous, floating clean sounds with tremendous depth. All in a transportable, compact size.

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various musical instruments and studio equipment on 18 April 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to reach the market were the first rhythm machines of the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a decisive influence on the techno, electro and hip-hop scenes. In the mid-1970s the JC-120 Jazz Chorus guitar amplifier was developed, whose ultra-clear sound together with the built-in chorus effect won over both Andy Summers of The Police and Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield of Metallica. Since then and to this day Roland have continuously expanded their catalogue across a wide range of fields such as digital pianos, grooveboxes, e-drums and synthesizers with high-quality and interesting products.

This is a cracking, well built and versatile combo from Roland, the originators and home of chorus. Wonderful depth of both reverb and spatial chorus The amp is fantastic for cleans but also works well with pedals, all wrapped up in a traditional vintage cabinet.

Compact, d’une construction qui respire la solidité et surtout un son clair qui correspond bien à la réputation des amplis JC. Parfait pour le jazz le rock la country le funk et qui supporte bien les pédales. Petit mais bien assez puissant pour un salon un studio ou une petite scène Je recommande

Really smooth transaction.
Hard to have an opinion on quality after 1 month. This is a great amplifier for what it is a over 40 year old design of a solid state amp. This is a clean amp, great clean tones. If you dont use alot of gain this is perfect. It reacts kind of well to gain pedals but not like a tube amp. It is bright I havent touched the bright-switch. I set everything between 4-6 depending on guitar. It will get you the 80s New Wave tones without any pedals.
