There is also a dedicated guitar/bass input with high impedance and 6.3 mm jack inputs for stereo instruments such as a keyboard, V‑Drums kit or Aerophone. Use the aux input to add additional stereo sources, including TRRS compatibility for bidirectional signal transfer with mobile devices.
Versatile outputs
GO:MIXER STUDIO offers several ways to monitor sound on the move. You can choose a 6.3 mm jack for studio headphones as well as a 3.5 mm mini‑jack for wired earbuds. In addition, the mini‑jack input allows you to connect a headset or inline microphone and serves as an additional recording path. Two 6.3 mm jack outputs are provided for connecting a speaker system in the studio or for indoor shoots. Control is intuitive via dedicated knobs on the control surface.
Built‑in effects
The GO:MIXER STUDIO’s effects let you polish sounds to a high sheen without external equipment. It includes a three‑band EQ as well as compressor and reverb modelled on high‑end studio processors. You can choose to record the processed signal directly or apply the processing only to the monitoring path, leaving the raw signal for later work in your DAW.
Record and mix audio tracks in the GO:MIXER Cam App
The GO:MIXER Cam App (iOS) offers far more than ordinary camera apps. In the app you can not only record your videos but also multiple audio tracks in parallel. Record each GO:MIXER STUDIO input as a separate audio track and mix the tracks after the video recording. You can also export the multitrack recordings as audio files to work on them further in a DAW or editing software on your computer.

Sessions can be efficiently controlled on the GO:MIXER STUDIO via the hardware controls and the colour display. The GO:MIXER Editor for macOS and Windows makes the workflow even more versatile. Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various musical instruments and studio equipment on 18 April 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to reach the market were the first rhythm machines of the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a decisive influence on the techno, electro and hip-hop scenes. In the mid-1970s the JC-120 Jazz Chorus guitar amplifier was developed, whose ultra-clear sound together with the built-in chorus effect won over both Andy Summers of The Police and Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield of Metallica. Since then and to this day Roland have continuously expanded their catalogue across a wide range of fields such as digital pianos, grooveboxes, e-drums and synthesizers with high-quality and interesting products.
