In addition, the elegant, textured surface design of the CY-12C-T provides an authentic acoustic look on stage. The two trigger sensors output different sounds for the bow and the edge. Cymbal chokes can also be produced like on an acoustic cymbal by holding the edge.

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various musical instruments and studio equipment on 18 April 1972 in Osaka, Japan.
