The patented RICHTER® SLIDE TAILPIECE® is the innovative solution for guitarists and bassists who want to switch quickly and easily between two playing positions live. The set offers you two mounting variants (set-up variants) for different applications:
SET-UP 1: LIFT & LOWER
The RICHTER® SLIDE TAILPIECE® lets you pull your instrument up in seconds or simply push it down into the low playing position. Reach the high positions on your fretboard quickly, comfortably and securely for a solo on stage, or switch between sitting and standing in the studio. LIFT & LOWER makes all this easier than ever and keeps the instrument and strap always where you want them. The RICHTER® SLIDE TAILPIECE® is adjustable in length from 5 to 60 cm measured from the end of the strap's shoulder section. The LIFT & LOWER adjustability is up to 23 cm.
SET-UP 2: FIXED
The end-piece set can be installed without the quick-adjust feature and is thus an ideal strap extender with flexible adjustment options. Adjust the length of your strap directly without complicated threading or removing the strap locks. When playing the instrument you have a fixed strap length.
Materials of the RICHTER® SLIDE TAILPIECE®:
- Spacer plate made from vegetable-tanned buffalo leather (chrome-free).
- Base fabric: 65% polyester, 35% cotton, surface 100% polyurethane. Extra reinforcement around the mounting holes.
- Nylon strap webbing.
- The plastic parts are phthalate-free and have rounded edges to protect the finish.
- All-round double stitching made from polyester thread.
