The PG-1 Type F is a professional power conditioner with extensive equipment. It includes a bank of eight switchable, filtered and surge-protected outputs. Two filtered outputs and a connection for a 3-pin XLR lamp are on the front, another 6 outputs, a ground terminal and the mains connection on the back. The display and other LEDs on the front provide constant visual feedback about the voltage input as well as the status of grounding, polarity, filtering of interference signals, alternating voltage and surge protection. The outputs are individually optimized for digital, analog or particularly “power-hungry” devices. A two-stage system of sequenced startup and shutdown was also implemented. In order to reduce unhealthy pop noises when speakers and amplifiers are switched on or off, the “High Current” outputs are slightly delayed and are switched on and off last in the system .
