Orange PPC212 Guitar Cabinet
The Right Speakers
Too many manufacturers compromise their cabinets by using inexpensive speakers. This foolhardy decision can be disastrous! After all, it’s the speakers that turn your playing into what your ears actually hear. Orange carefully selects the finest speakers from the world’s best manufacturers to ensure that your amplifier’s tone is never compromised!
The Right Materials
Durability aside, the obvious advantage of denser materials is to aid in thickening your amplifier’s sound and improving speaker projection. Orange cabinets feature an 18ply birch plywood shell. The Right Design Orange’s unique “skid” design helps to acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage. The advantage? Better definition and bass response.

Orange Amplification was founded in 1968 by Cliff Cooper in London. Previously the Brit had already achieved early success with the development of one of the first headphone preamplifiers. When the first Orange amps and speaker cabinets appeared at the end of 1968, their striking colour and the framed design of the amp heads and speaker cabinets represented a revolution in amplifier design. John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Paul Kossoff, Marc Bolan, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Noel Gallagher and many other famous musicians are convinced fans of Orange amps and speakers. Thus the British company quickly developed into a true global player with countless fans.
