The NUX NDR-5 combines the two most popular ambience effects, delay and reverb, in one housing. There are 3 classic delay programmes available: 60's Tape Delay, 70's Analogue Delay and 80's Digital Delay. There are also 3 classic reverb programmes on board: Spring, Plate and Reverb. The Plate Reverb programme also includes Shimmer Reverb as a nice bonus - simply press and hold the Reverb footswitch and off you go into the infinite expanses of space. The internal routing of the two effects sections can be changed in a practical way: both effects either in series or in parallel, in serial mode the order of the effect blocks can be changed. The tap mode provides 7 subdivisions. The input level can be switched from -4 dB to -10 dB. A cool ambient machine for a small mark!

Sowohl Delay als auch Reverb hören sich klasse an, es gibt jeweils 3 verschiedene Variationen plus (jeweils) einen Zusatzeffekt, den man per leichtem Druck auf den Fußschalter aktiviert, gerade den Shimmer-Effekt find ich echt klasse und brauchbar. Bei dem Preis eine echte Kaufempfehlung, da würde ich mich Pete Thorn`s Meinung anschließen: klasse Gerät!
two in one. effects can be in series or parallel. plenty of options, but at the same time, not too many. no sub-menus, everything is available. i especially like the "shimmer" on the plate reverb. the "smart tap tempo" has messed up on me once, but that's out of hundreds of uses (reading my stomp as a tempo tap instead of turning the delay off). very happy w/ this one!
