Novation Launchkey 88 MK4 is the largest controller in the Launchkey series to date and combines an expressive 88-note piano-style keyboard with deep DAW integration and powerful creative features. The specially developed semi-weighted keyboard offers a natural playing feel and is equally suitable for pianists, producers and live performers.
With 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads including polyphonic Aftertouch, eight endless rotary encoders and nine faders, the Launchkey 88 MK4 enables intuitive control of instruments, effects and mixing functions. Thanks to seamless integration with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Bitwig and other DAWs, mouse and keyboard often become unnecessary. Transport functions, mixer, plugin control as well as clip and scene launch are all directly accessible from the controller.
A wealth of performance features is available for creative workflows: Scale Mode keeps your playing in the selected scale, multiple chord modes make it easier to create complex harmonies, and the powerful arpeggiator with step editor generates inspiring rhythmic sequences. Split and layer modes allow you to play multiple instruments simultaneously or divide the keyboard into different performance zones.
The integrated OLED display provides clear navigation and gives constant feedback on parameters and functions. The controller is powered and connected to the computer via USB-C, while a classic 5-pin MIDI output and a socket for a sustain pedal allow integration of external hardware.
The delivery includes a comprehensive software package with Ableton Live Lite, Cubase LE, virtual instruments and effects from GForce, Klevgrand and Orchestral Tools as well as Native Instruments Komplete Select and other creative tools – ideal for getting started straight away with music production and performance.
