The legendary Talkbox in a practical design! As of old the classical Talkbox still had to be connected to the amplifier output with the corresponding long speaker cables across the stage, the MXR M222 Talk Box amplifier is simply integrated into the effect device. The powerful, internal mid-range driver is driven directly by a small amp. The signal is sent as usual with a hose into the mouth and is then sent with a microphone to the PA system. With some practice you can produce the typical "my guitar talks to me" sounds a'la Peter Frampton or Joe Walsh - very cool and unique.
