The pedal reproduces the guitar sound of Green Day's iconic Dookie album. For the guitar tracks, two different amps were used — a high‑gain amp with scooped mids and an amp with articulated mids. The Dookie Drive pedal also features two distinct overdrive circuits that can be blended together.
