The MXR Gran Torino Boost Overdrive uses MOSFET technology to enhance and enrich the natural sound of your rig with the warm, organic character of classic tube amps — and it comes with a simple but effective set of controls to tailor its tone to your setup. Setting it is straightforward: just set the desired master volume and gain level, make the fine adjustments with the 3-band EQ and then use the BOOST/OD switch to choose the output mode you want: Boost for clean notes and thick sustain, OD for aggressive full-on overdrive. In addition, this pedal uses a Class A low-impedance output driver to preserve the integrity of your tone and prevent signal loss over long effect chains.
