Many of the mallets on the market are designed for orchestral and other classical applications, which is why in the past drummers were almost forced to use them for purposes other than their intended use on the drum set. One of our first ideas was to develop mallets for the drumset drummer, so that the change from drumstick to drumset mallet becomes something completely normal. With a very comfortable 5A American Hickory handle, our drum set mallets are specifically designed for drummers who want soft cymbal swells and thunderous toms - paired with the durability of a drumstick.
