The MEINL Cocktail Cajon Kit offers the player a wide range of sounds: from bass and snare to bongo and tom sounds, all instruments in wooden cajon style. At the centre of this kit is the MEINL Cocktail Cajon, which is played as a kick drum. The included MEINL Pickup Snare, the Pickup Bongo Cajon (high and low sound) and the Pickup Tom Tap can be mounted on the kit and together create a full Cajon set sound. Each of these three add-ons includes its own L-Rod, which is attached to the Cajon using the standard eyebolt mounts. In addition to the Cajon drums, this kit comes with a foot pedal and a soft foam Cajon beater as well as special Husk Brushes. The brushes provide a soft, yet precise, percussive sound. Each drum in the Cocktail Cajon Kit is equipped with its own piezo pickup and a high-quality output jack, so you can connect the entire set and selectively increase the volume when additional amplification is needed (audio cable not included).

Excellent son, une belle couleur et un accordage juste. Le rapport qualité prix est a la hauteur. Dommage que les équerres de maintient des boites soient si courtes. La position est vraiment trop compacte pour un batteur de taille normale. Les boutons de volume et prise jack se dévisse avec les vibrations en utilisation "live".
Ich habe mich sehr auf das Meinl Cocktail Cajon Kit gefreut und es intensiv gespielt, während ich in Corona Quarantäne war. Die Verleimung des oberen Tom/ Bongo hat sich in Kürze gelöst und die Schlagdecke, nicht verschraubt wie die Snare, ist jetzt locker. Die Halterungen aller Toms und Snares sind zu wenig stabil. Wenn ich alles waagerecht befestige, dreht sich alles nach unten. Die Snare könnte vom Klang her mehr Feder vertragen, so wie bei einem Cajon. Ich warte immer noch auf Antwort der Garantieabteilung von Musik Produktiv. Sonst finde ich das Set eine gute Sache und hoffe die Qualitätsprobleme haben mit der ersten Auslieferung zu tun.
