What makes the bongos especially robust is the synthetic shell material, which stands up particularly well to changes in weather and the usual hazards of travel while delivering resonance, volume, clarity and warmth in the sound. With hand-selected natural buffalo heads (6.5" and 7.5") the response is full of dynamic warmth and depth, together with crisp highs and an excellent playing feel. Four 8 mm tuning lugs and tuning bolts on each drum make it easy to tune the bongos to the desired pitch — the included tuning key helps you tune the bongos quickly and easily or change the head.
