The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpan is handcrafted from high-quality stainless steel with the greatest care and precision. In this way you can draw heavenly, room-filling sounds from it. The attractive vintage gold finish blends harmoniously into the overall appearance and catches the eye even before you play. This Sensory Handpan has a diameter of 22" and is tuned to the popular D Kurd scale (A4/a' 440 Hz) with 9 tones. Anyone can play this instrument and produce great sounds even without prior knowledge, because all tones sound harmonious with each other. The pleasantly deep fundamental tone in the centre is surrounded by eight tone fields that produce a pure and calming sound. On the underside of the Sensory Handpan there are two sound holes pointing in opposite directions to deliver a realistic sound image to both the player and the listeners. All Sensory Handpans are supplied with two removable Sound Tubes, which allow you to change the instrument's sonic characteristics as you wish. The longer Sound Tube is placed opposite the lower tones and the shorter opposite the higher tones. With its intense, wonderful sound this handpan is perfect for sound journeys, meditation or simply to soothe the mind in the morning or evening. The handpan is a fantastic instrument for your entry into the world of relaxation and for learning new melodies. Due to its tuning at 440 Hz it can be wonderfully combined with other instruments. The delivery includes a sturdy stainless-steel protective lid, a soft storage sleeve and a durable padded transport bag with synthetic lining, an adjustable backpack harness and a sturdy carry handle.
