Meinl Cymbals MCCB22BK - 22” Classic Woven Cymbal Bag, Black

Product information "Meinl Cymbals MCCB22BK - 22” Classic Woven Cymbal Bag, Black"

The Meinl Classic Woven Cymbal Bag combines the durability and resilience of a touring bag with a timeless design. The ultra-durable 600D woven polyester exterior is supported on the inside by a PVC component for optimal stability and protection. The design is rounded off with faux-leather accents on the base and the bag's handle. The main compartment offers plenty of space for cymbals up to 22” and is equipped with dividers to prevent cymbals from rubbing against each other. The 15” hi-hat compartment has the divider sewn in directly. The size-adjustable backpack-style straps and the reinforced handle make it comfortable to carry the bag with your cymbal set to the gig or the studio. The rear pocket provides space to store the straps as well as accessories and extras. The base of the bag is reinforced with EVA to protect the cymbals inside from damage caused by rough placement of the bag. The large, reliable zipper allows the bag to be closed securely. The Meinl Classic Woven Cymbal Bags are designed equally for functionality and style.

About Meinl Cymbals

The company Meinl was founded in 1951 by Roland Meinl as a one-man operation producing cymbals in a cellar workshop. Now in its third generation and family-run, Roland Meinl Musikinstrumente has become one of the biggest names in the production of cymbals, percussion instruments and sound therapy instruments, with locations in Gutenstetten and Nashville, TN.

Meinl Cymbals are manufactured at two locations. One production site is at the company headquarters in Gutenstetten in Franconia. This site has been specialised in high-precision automated production and hammering and has been continuously modernised since the new build in 2003. The series produced exclusively in Germany include, among others, HCS, Classics Custom, Classics Custom Dark, Classics Custom Dual as well as Pure Alloy and Pure Alloy Custom.

With the introduction of the traditionally hand-hammered cymbals of the Byzance Series in 2000, Meinl entered a centuries-old tradition of cymbal manufacturing in the home of cymbal craftsmanshipTurkey. Since the construction of the Turkish production facility in Samsun in 2019, production has taken place in a highly modern manufactory. After manufacture there, the cymbals are finished in the German factory and each one is strictly inspected for look and sound.

The cymbal range comprises seven main series that, based on six different alloys, cover a particularly broad sonic spectrum. These include: Byzance, Pure Alloy, Classic Custom, HCS, Symphonic/Marching, Generarion X and Artist Concept Models.

The range is complemented by Drum Gear – accessories for the drum kit – from drum rugs through practice pads and stick bags to cymbal cleaners and drum keys. Meinl Cymbals' endorsers include some of the most successful and well-known drummers of our time, among them: Benny Greb, Robert "Sput" Searight, Matt Garstka, Anika Nilles, Mike Johnston, Jost Nickel, Chris Coleman, Luke Holland, Brann Dailor and Wolfgang Haffner.

To experience the complete Meinl Cymbals range with all your senses, we warmly recommend a visit to our Walldorf branch. On site we host the first Meinl Flagship Store in Europe, where you'll find the entire Meinl Cymbals portfolio and even some special models that you can of course play and try out.
