Maybach is dedicated to replicating traditional guitars. With the Motone series, Maybach now also offers basses. The basses are made from American red alder for the body, an American stone maple neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard with a classic 7.25" radius. The bolt-on neck-body connection forms the basis for the powerful, growling sound, perfectly implemented and amplified by Lollar pickups, which you would expect from these classics. The slightly rounded edges of the fretboard give the neck a pleasant feel and ensure a comfortable playing experience. Gotoh hardware rounds off this classically inspired yet modern overall package.
