Developed in collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio, the LD Systems MAUI® P900 combines state-of-the-art audio technology with striking elegance. It is the perfect choice for live events and installation applications where exceptional sound quality and style are required. The total of 50 neodymium drivers and 1,400 watts RMS of the Class-D power amp in this groundbreaking column system deliver a maximum sound pressure level of 131 dB with a frequency response of 42 - 20,000 Hz.
The MAUI® P900 uses SonicGuide® technology with LD Systems' WaveAhead® tweeter arrangement to form a coherent wavefront. The system’s 140° wide horizontal dispersion and tightly focused vertical coverage achieve extremely long throw and even sound distribution. DynX® 24-bit signal processing provides detailed, dynamic reproduction that remains distortion-free even at the highest levels. In addition, aptX™ and AAC codecs enable high-resolution Bluetooth® streaming with full audio bandwidth and a 70 m range; integrated TrueWireless Stereo™ technology allows wireless stereo playback with two systems placed up to 15 m apart.
The distinctive three-part MAUI® P900 column system is constructed from high-strength aluminium with a multi-layer elastic front covering and is assembled in seconds without cables using specially developed multipin connectors. The minimalist connection panel offers system and subwoofer level controls, two XLR sockets as a stereo input and two XLR outputs for wired stereo configuration of two systems. Unique in its clear aesthetics and outstanding audio quality, the MAUI® P900 is available in Cocoon White, Platinum Grey or Graphite Black for elegant integration into virtually any environment. Padded carry bags for the column and subwoofer and a purpose-built flightcase for the MAUI® P900 are available as accessories for convenient transport and protection.
