The MAUI 11 G3 MIX is an exceptionally compact, remarkably powerful and smart column PA system in the premium class. It delivers a large, punchy and precise sound with 730 W RMS (1,460 W peak) that convinces in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-plus setups or as a PA at weddings, corporate events and other functions.
The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the operator's preferences via Easy or Expert mode. You decide whether you prefer, for example, intuitively operated 3-band EQs or a 5-band fully parametric EQ. A comprehensive effects section provides the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing options. All mixer and effect settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.
For stereo applications two MAUI 11 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink®. In this case the number of mixer channels is doubled, and with the help of the REMOTE button all channels can even be controlled from a single system.
With its elegant design the MAUI 11 G3 MIX looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminium column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer in the MAUI G3 series, reinforcing the seamless visual impression. The columns house 6 x 3.5" midrange drivers which, in combination with the innovative phase-plug design and the 2 x 1" tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. In addition, the BEM-optimised waveguide in front of the tweeters carries the high frequencies into the rear audience areas.
The crossover region between the mid and high drivers was also carefully developed to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations, making the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: particularly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments over the entire 120° x 30° coverage area.
The columns of the MAUI 11 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid loudspeakers. This provides controlled low-mid projection to the front and up to 18 dB of attenuation to the rear, producing a clean on-stage sound field.
With its two larger 8" drivers and four bass-reflex ports, the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 39 Hz clearly and with impact. When a second subwoofer is used, the bass region can be boosted by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the push of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely rugged polyurea coating of the subwoofer easily withstands the toughest on-the-road demands.
The MAUI 11 G3 MIX is a true sound machine yet also impresses with practical features for the everyday life of solo entertainers, singer/songwriters or small bands.
